2007Grouse - Pheasant - Deer hunts Went Grouse and Prarie Chicken hunting Friday Sept. 15 and Sat. 16th. Weather a little warm but evening and morning was nice-n-cool.. Shot Doves coming into a watering hole Fri. evening, had some really good luck.. I shot 12 shells . 20Ga. 1oz 7 1/2's baged 6 Doves. Not bad. I don't know how many shells My Son Bob used but he had 9 Doves.. Sat. AM hunted Grouse till noon.. Baged 3 right early and 2 more about 11:00AM.. Headed home as weather turned WET!!!! Rain and more rain - wind. All in all, a good trip.. Pheasant season opens Oct. 29 th Deer Hunting in Nov. See Ya then, John |

Deer Hunt Nov. 11 thru 14th 2006. Nebraska Pine Ridge Area.. Weather not too cold. had about 4" snow. My Son Bob and I both baged really nice 3X3 Mulies Bob got his Sat. AM about 9:00.... I got mine Monday afternoon about 3:00.. Here's a couple photos... John |
